The prong collar adapter is used with a regular leash and provides a safety attachment to the dominant collar in case the prong collar comes apart.  This does happen and with this adapter you will maintain control of the dog at all times.  It is made of black latigo  leather 3/4" with a 6" lead going to the3 prong and 8" lead going to the dominate collar allowing the prong to apply the leash pressure.
